We would like to extend an invitation to join us for a special holiday, not only to share our beautiful home but also our way of life. We will help you to have a holiday you will remember long after your return home. La Seliniere is situated midway between St. Sever forest, famous for it's wild life and Lac Dathée, equally well known for its 18 hole golf course, carp fishing and water sports. The house is surrounded by green lawns, colourful flowerbeds and sunny terraces, there is even a kitchen garden where we produce most of our own vegetables. In the garden are outside areas for eating, relaxing in the sunshine or playing games, which are supplied for adults and children alike. Take the time to introduce yourselves to our animals, collect your own eggs for breakfast from our chickens, feed our sheep, and take a treat out for Dillon the donkey and Pepi the pony. Your first welcome will be from Hugo our yellow Labrador who just loves visitors. Experience life in rural France with us. We provide a home cooked four course evening meal consisting of fresh local produce, fully inclusive of wine of course, priced at only 21 euros per person. children's prices on request. Lunch and picnic lunches can also be provided. You will find in each room an information pack that details everything you will need to know about local shops, supermarkets, banks, chemists. The local restaurants are also listed with directions. Every pursuit has been covered with pamphlet information. We really do believe that we can provide everything that anyone could possibly need for the perfect break – even a child minding service, either throughout the day or for the evening – that is, of course, if our guests feel that they really must visit the outside world.

Other Room(s)	Laundry room - fully equipped is available for the use of our guests Our two double bedrooms are both fitted with a double and single bed, a travel cot can also be provided in each room at no extra cost. Both bedrooms have a separate toilet/ bathroom. The Bayeux Suite comprises of a large double bedroom en-suite with interconnecting bedroom, fitted with adult size bunk beds, another single bed can also be provided for a family of five or a travel cot at no extra cost. We have a separate reading room/play area for guests. Downstairs is a separate laundry room available for washing and ironing. This area of Normandy claims to be the gourmet capital of France, if you should wish to purchase the local food and wine then a separate fridge/freezer is available for guest use. A hob, oven, grill, microwave is available should you wish to create your own culinary delights. We can also supply evening meals on request, which consist of a four course dinner, our menus are a mixture of local and traditional Normandy FranÃ§ais fare, wine is naturally included. Tea / coffee making facilities in each room and full FranÃ§ais / Continental breakfast is inclusive.
Outside Area	The garden is a gated area and as such is secure for children to play. The side car park is more than ample for any number of cars to be parked away from the building safely and securely. We have availability in our barn for motor bikes and cycles. A barbeque and tables and chairs are provided for guests who want to try their own culinary skills. If the idea of sitting on the terrace in the evening sun, sampling the local wine, while the barbeque sizzles quietly does not appeal, we can on request, provide evening meals. Sun beds are provided for those who just wish to relax.

Double bedroom €47 Bayeux Suite €79 Prices are per room per night in euros. Single bed added to any double room - 10 euros. Changeover day We accept bookings on a daily basis and therefore do not adhered to preferred changeover days. We do however state time of arrival is after 4pm and departure time is 10.30am, although we aim to be as flexible as possible by prior arrangement. We will require a 25% non-returnable deposit to secure your booking. Three weeks previous to arrival date we will require the balance of payment. In the case of B & B required within days of inquiry, please consult with us.

Travelling

Dinard airport 82km. Car hire is essential. Traveling times from local ports: Caen (Ouistreham) 1.5 hrs. Cherbourg 2 hrs. Le Havre 2 hrs. Calais / Boulogne 4 hrs. How to get here: Calais/Boulogne - 4 hours From port follow the sign Boulogne/Abbeville A19 past Abbeville then change onto the E402/A29 to Le Havre. Stay on A29 to Caen joining the A13 to Caen and follow directions to Rennes A84 take junction 42 the D577 to Vire. Le Havre - 2 hours From the port follow signs for Caen/Paris, A29 take a right towards Caen A29 over the new bridge [superb view] and proceed to the A13 Caen and follow directions to Rennes A84 take junction 42 the D577 to Vire. Ouistreham - 1½ hours From the ferry terminal take the D514 to Caen and when you pass under the second yellow foot bridge take a right onto the ring road following signs for A84 Rennes/Le Mont St Michel when you are on the A84 take junction 42 the D577 to Vire. Cherbourg - 2 hours From port take the N13 Bayeux/Caen until you go under the canal tunnel just beyond Carentan take a right towards St Lo N174. Just beyond St Jean de Daye a new by pass has been built go onto that and just stay on it all the way round St Lo and the road returns to the N174 south of St Lo heading to Vire.
